You essentially have three options here, and I’d humbly suggest you pay particular attention to the third, as the first two might be near impossible to realize:
- Build your economies of scale to the point of making such a solution affordable to the mainstream (already mentioned by others).
- Help the mainstream gain enough disposable income to regularly afford such a solution. This will likely require some political capacity (and patience).
- Via proper consumer research, thoroughly and precisely validate the assumption that such a solution ever had the potential of going mainstream. Incidentally, this would beneficially force you to define “mainstream” (e.g. “mainstream” = people w/disposable income of $X/year + Y# of hours of free time + Z level of perceived energy after coming home from work).
