My Quora Answer to: What is the most effective way for a product manager to conduct a UX satisfaction audit?
“Satisfaction” can be defined a number of ways, but in purely strategic terms -and to everyone’s benefit- you’ll want to, first, identify all of the tasks your users will want to complete, overall, and within – as well as between – pages. Then, you’ll want to create analytic goals, defined as various within and between-page behavioral sequences, to see if your users actually complete these sequences at respectable rates.
And after all of that, you’ll want to conduct a survey around their feelings related to ease of understanding and speed to complete their tasks. This way, you can relate/correlate users’ actual times, behaviors, and completion rates to their feelings, thereby informing your current and future UX strategies.
G’luck!
